About Tai

Artist, Father, Adventurer

Tai is a Principal Environment Artist with 6+ years of experience in the Games Industry. Inspired by classical painting and the great outdoors, his work showcases skill across a wide variety of pipelines and techniques.


Currently Tai is a Principal 3D Environment Artist at Stoic, working on a Towerborne. Here he has had a hand in prototyping and finalizing many side-scrolling 3D environment biomes, taken up R&D on new processes for the team, lead the environment effort for both in-game cinematics and marketing cinematics, created and optimized the environment team’s uber-shader, managed both 2D and 3D outsource partners, and contributed to many other efforts.


Residing in Portland Oregon, Tai likes to spend his free time with his family and pets in the great outdoors.
